Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! If you are like me you may be asking where summer went but also looking forward to the kids being at wonderful Jackson Davis. As you already read from Mrs. Bonner’s family update, our Open House will be on Thursday, Aug. 17th from 12-2pm. The PTA will have tables set up to answer any questions, help direct you to your child’s classroom and if you’re interested, you can purchase PTA memberships, spirit wear and yearbooks! On the back of the map of the school will be our Calendar of events, so be sure to check that out! 

Our pending budget will be posted on the website soon as well as our current year board list, so take a few minutes to look through what our PTA has been working on so far. We will vote on this budget at our first general PTA meeting which will be at Back to School Night on August 30th! Our Dolphin Fund will kick off the third week of school this year and will run from Sept 5-15th! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are also planning on hosting some other types of events throughout the school year and there will be a return of after school enrichment in the Winter/Spring. We are looking to make lots of magic happen this year with our wonderful teachers and staff. Hope you all had a wonderful summer and we can’t wait to see you in the coming weeks as we kick off another awesome school year!!
